Appointments

From Monday 1st September, we will be booking all doctors appointments via a new online booking platform. You do not require a username or password for this. It will ask your Name, DOB and postcode to help identify you are a patient at our practice. If you need help filling in this form, please contact the surgery to do so.

For non-urgent issues, please follow the guidelines below and choose the right service. An appointment may not be necessary.

This will help us to be more efficient by making an appointment available to you when you need it the most.

We are only able to address one concern per appointment. At this time, we do not offer extended or double appointments. If you have more than one concern, please book a separate appointment for each issue.

Pharmacy & Self-Care

Pharmacy

Pharmacists are qualified healthcare professionals who can offer clinical advice, over the counter medicines to effectively and safely manage a range of minor health concerns. They can also help you to decide whether you'll need to see a doctor. You don't need an appointment and you won't even be asked to make a purchase. Every pharmacy also has a private consultation area for you to talk about your symptoms in private if you prefer.

Book an Appointment with a GP

You can book your appointment using the following link:

Use Rapid Health

The system will be available each day from 6:30am Monday to Friday. This timeframe ensures that all requests can be reviewed in a timely manner.

In most cases, you will be able to book your appointment directly. However, some requests may need to be reviewed by the practice team before an appointment is allocated.

Please note that if you are booking on behalf of someone under 16 years old, the request will automatically be sent to the practice for review and cannot be booked directly online.

Nurse Appointments

Nurse appointments are pre-bookable, if the appointment is for a specialised clinic such as diabetes, asthma or an over 75 health check, please tell the receptionist and you will be given a longer appointment time.

We aim to provide appointments with a nurse within 5 working days

Sickness Certificates (Fit Notes)

You must give your employer a doctor's 'fit note' (sometimes called a 'sick note') if you've been ill for more than 7 days in a row and have taken sick leave. This includes non-working days, such as weekends and bank holidays.

Home Visits

Whilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery, where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible.

In this respect, if you do need a home visit, you can help us by calling reception before 10:30am.

Please remember that home visits are intended for patients who physically do not leave the house for any reason and lack of transport is not a reason to request a home visit.

Self Service Check-in and Appointment Reminder

At our surgery, we have a convenient self-service check-in system located to the left of the front doors. The system will prompt you with a few questions to help check you in. If you encounter any difficulties while checking in, please feel free to approach a member of our reception team, who will be happy to assist you.

While waiting for your appointment, please keep an eye on our display screens, which will show your name when it’s time to be seen.

To ensure your appointment runs smoothly, we kindly ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes early. This is particularly important if you have a small child who may require an examination. If you arrive more than 5 minutes late, the clinician may not be able to see you, as it is important to respect our clinicians’ time.

Please note that it is the patient’s responsibility to allow enough time to arrive for their appointment.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
